Dalila Baied has been practicing yoga since 2009 and began to gain a deeper and more authentic appreciation and devotion for her practice as she completed her 300 hour Teacher Training at Sani Yoga in 2014/15. Through this training, Dalila found that yoga is not only a ‘workout’ or a time for relaxation, but also a way of life that is practiced on and off the mat.
Dalila has a BFA in Dance and Psychology from the University of New Mexico and incorporates her passion for movement and the mind in her classes by promoting self and bodily awareness. In 2016, Dalila completed 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in Costa Rica.
As a teacher, Dalila hopes to guide students seeking physical control, strength, and flexibility while at the same time inspiring a holistic approach to mental and physical well being. Currently, Dalila teaches at various yoga studios around town including Sani Yoga, Bhava Yoga and Hot Yoga Downtown. She also works in administration for Elevate: Performance, Health, Wellness.
